The Lodge is bordering on a mangrove jungle. Here where bananas, mangos, pineapples and papayas grow and only a few minutes walk away from a beautiful deserted bay, you can see monkeys, iguanas, racoons, and parrots at close range.
Cultural Exchange
Alegria is an International Meeting place for cultural organizations. We cooperate above all with an involve local artist in providing work shop and festivals.
The heart od our center is the imposing 120 mts 2 wooden japanese- style pagoda atop a small hill, built in two layers, so that railings nowhere obscure your 360 degree breathtaking views to the pacific and the Bahía Monte Reina. The region where Alegría is located is a paradisiac jewel inserted in the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, a must for visitors who wish to enjoy nature in the more peaceful area of the country.
Living
In bamboo
cabins or canvas rooms of tranquility and simplicity, surrounded by lush
rain forest, you fall asleep to the sounds of nature and wake up with the
sun.
Alegría owns kitchen with views to the ocean. Offer local and International
