On this tour, you will visit one of the majestic rain forests of Costa Rica: The "Parque Nacional Braulio Carrillo"

This park offers a unique scenic environment to all its visitors. The guest will hike through the pathways; a thick vegetation that avoid the sun penetrates to the forest grounds.

This particular situation makes that the vegetation on the forest ground remain dwarf. There is a short forest inside the big forest due to the lack of sunlight.

The high level of humidity all year round keep the trees wet and as time passes the branches get rotten and full of epiphytes and parasite plant. In many cases the branches are not strong enough to resist and they break down falling on the forest grounds to feed bacteria who transform the rotten branches into new fertilizer for the soil.

Now there is a gap in forest where the sunlight will penetrate. This sunlight will benefit dwarf plants that were waiting for this opportunity to develop into big trees.

You will be able to see an immense variety of flora and fauna typical of this park.
