Day two

This is a day for wild life nature tour. From Arenal volcano we drive north to Caño Negro Wild life refugee, one of the most interesting places for nature lovers. Many species of birds are found here, as well as monkeys, sloth and crocodiles.

From Mexico to Brazil, the region shares the same species of flora and fauna and is abundant everywhere.

Crocodiles will be taking the sun in the sandy beaches of the river and the howler monkeys, as well as the spider monkeys and the white face monkey will perform their strongest sounds in order to show you who is the king of the forest.

The region is plenty of water birds, iguanas and many species of herons and egrets.

Camera is the most useful tool here as the opportunities of taking excellent photos is present at any time of the day.

Lunch is served on the boat this day as all we will have around us will be nature and more nature.

The climate here is hot

After a day full of nature, we will return to La Fortuna where we will stay one more night and prepare our journey to Nicaragua next day.
